Welcome to Grays Harbor County Straddleline ORV Park.
Straddleline ORV Park is located ona 155 acre site along the Grays Harbor and Thurston County line. The site is adjacent to State Route 8 and divided between the two counties with 78 acres of land in Grays Harbor County and 77 acres in Thurston County.
Straddleline is an intensive use facility which includes 5 miles of bike trails in the park and access to over 100 miles of trails within Capito lState Forest. It offers a 1 mile MX track, 1/8 mile flat track, off-road courses, sand drag strip, kid’s mini MX course, 4-wheel drive trails, camp sites, meeting hall, restrooms with showers, concession stand with restrooms, covered grandstands, a main office and a caretaker’s residence.
Grays Harbor and Thurston Counties acquired the site in 1977 withThurston county managing and operating the park until closing it in 2002. Grays Harbor County reopened the park in October, 2005 after extensive time and labor donated by volunteers and with funding from the Washington State Interagency for Outdoor Recreation.
IT IS THE MISSION OF THE STRADDLELINEORV PARK TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN A FAMILY DESTINATION POINT, ORV PARK SYSTEM THAT SERVES THE NEEDS OF OFFROAD VEHICLE USERS AT A RESONABLE COST.
